Frequently Asked Questions

There are two major reasons these devices have issues. The fixes here will solve 99% of the problems you will run into.

Device wont turn on

It's either a loose connection with the battery, or the stock SD card has probably gone bad. The cards that come from the factory are very low quality. We recommend a Sandisk Extreme card which we also sell. Start by making sure it's not a loose battery connection. Use a small allen key to take the back plate off. Unplug and gently reset the power cable. Replace the screws and turn the device on.

Games crashing, not working correctly

This is almost certainly an issue with the card. Replace the low quality factory SD card with a Sandisk Extreme. Make sure the main card is inserted into slot 1 TF1. If you add a second card to expand the storage, please use TF2. You will need to format the card as FAT32 and plug it into the device once before adding more ROMS.
